New Video Focuses on ECS’ Strengths & Expertise in WLAN

Click to Watch

The marketing team at Enterprise Cable Services is proud to release its newest company asset, a short, informative, online company video.

This feature outlines the company’s mission and services available to value added resellers (VAR) of wireless network hardware and component infrastructure.  Throughout 2016, Enterprise Cable Services has made strides to increase its brand reach and the “look and feel” of the organization both on the digital side and in the field.

Marketing manager Jeff Goldstein and Business Development Manager Jason Dombrowski worked in tangent on the lionshare of the project, though it should be noted the process included feedback across different roles in the organization.  The viewpoints of all involved helped collectively explain the setting and circumstances that creates ECS’ value add to the wireless VAR audience.

“Wireless LAN supports the entire ecosystem of enterprise mobility, which expands everyday,”  Goldstein explains.  “Businesses want to weave the Internet of Things (IoT) and mobility more within their workplaces, which requires a WLAN system that can meet user capacity and performance expectations.  VARs in Wireless LAN often cannot provide sufficient design, installation and configuration services of their own behind their sales.  In other words, they lack the resources and/or expertise to ultimately close their deals – it takes more than technology.  How ECS fills those voids is what we wanted to get across.”

(White Paper) Hospitality Vision Study – The Mobility, Wireless and IoT Impact

We maybe most focused in the services in and around wireless LAN installation here at Enterprise Cable Services, but that doesn’t mean we aren’t cognizant of the many applications of it’s use – in this case within the hospitality sector and through advances in IoT and workforce mobility.

It’s an exciting time for hospitality.  Guests, employees, vendors and others are benefiting more than ever from everything a high performance Wireless LAN system can provide in hotels, event venues, resorts, restaurants.

Fill out the short form to the right to receive the full study

For guest attendants and hospitality staff, mobile devices, such as handheld computers, tablets and other network connected peripherals are fundamentally changing the typical workday.

Mobile devices and applications are integrating into hospitality properties everywhere on site, improving the level of care and quality of services across all departments.  Plus, the availability of real-time information to hospitality management on current activity happening on their properties and the customer’s interactions within the property has never been as vast, nor gathered as quickly through IoT.

The gathering of insights and interests isn’t simply channeled through staff applications either; it includes guest’s web interactions on their mobile devices when they stay/work, with the provider’s websites, loyalty member accounts, and personal guest portals.  Locationing technology, in addition can help administrators provide “Overboard service” by being able to meet guest demands and needs at the exact place required on-site.

As innovation in handheld software applications, workforce software, guest-facing information portals and hardware itself continues, the sky is the limit,

Due to these realizations of the power technology now plays, guests also expect more, as seen in the Hospitality Vision Study, provided by Zebra Technologies. Read the skinny into what your consumers and guests are saying and what they recommend today.

ECS Grows Numbers – New Project Manager Hired

In light of Enterprise Cable Services expanding its volume of projects on the books, the need arose to bring to the team an experienced, task oriented individual to help the existing team balance the workload.

Jamie Swanson was hired in late October to the ECSjamieswanson team to serve as the company’s newest project manager.  Swanson handles the responsibilities of scheduling work orders, coordinating with VAR’s to properly scope out the right project plan and also manages the moving parts (planned and un-planned) needed to complete the job.  Swanson acts as a liaison between the business development team, VAR partnership group and any additional external resources together for a successful project outcome.

jamieswanson2Jamie comes to ECS with an extensive technical background, is well versed in enterprise class wireless infrastructure and has a long career serving in management roles.  His experience in the same industrial fields ECS has worked with in the past is incredibly vital, especially in consideration to the uptick in business opportunities the organization has seen in these same verticals.

We’re proud to add Jamie to the team – you can reach him at jswanson@enterprisecableservices.com.

New Look, Same Tradition of Excellence: ECS Website Launches

The entire Enterprise Cable Services team is excited to present to you, our loyal customers and fans a new, modern web experience.  We’re proud of who we are here at ECS, but more so of how we help the value added reseller (or VAR for short) community spread the latest, most innovative wireless LAN technologies across leading organizations around the world.

With that said, our new website speaks exactly to that:  We wanted to create an experience that is more than “what we do”.  It is a resource for today’s trends in wireless networks, industry-wide product launches, the Internet of Things (IoT) and the latest news in how wireless networks and technology are impacting enterprises.  The topics are, of course not limited to this and won’t be – we want your questions, your comments, your feedback on the world of wireless.
